We had two anglers on the pond this week and they also had a great day, lots of nice fish in the 12 to 18 inch range with lots of fight. The weed situation isn’t too bad and the fish were rising all over the pond while they were there. They mostly stuck to fishing small nymphs under indicators and didn’t have any trouble hooking up regularly. You should also be able to pick up some fish stripping streamers and leech patterns if you prefer. Patterns to try include: soft hackles, wd-40, pheasant tail, copper john, flashback emerger, soft emerger, zebra midge, zack attach leech, mayors mini leech, seal bugger and stillwater nymph.
