Out and underway first heading for the port city of Cabo San Lucas to meet our anglers before heading forth on this fly down/fly back adventure. Thus far it appears that our load of sardines is superb. We’ll be tending to a few chores on the ride south scouting the usual haunts while setting up equipment and preparing for the voyage ahead.
We are now outfitted with a new satellite communication system that incorporates the Iridium constellation in our wifi network. Time will tell but this new system should address the communication issues that all of us in the long range fleet have been dealing with over the past few months. Our gratitude to satellite provider KVH who has stepped up big time providing the new equipment and coverage at no cost.
The daily narrative begins anew so look for photos and information each morning as the voyage progresses. Daily photo is a final image from the previous voyage featuring the Las Rocas group in high spirits.
