Shasta Lake Browns looking good!
2-5-2018
Jeff Goodwin
Today we fished Shasta Lake for brown trout and we came up with a few great fish for Mark. It didn't take long to hook up our first brown trolling on the surface before the sun hit the water. We hit a double Spotted bass hook up trolling the surface as well. Finally our last brown came once again right on the surface. The take down was savage and the fight was on! White Arctic Fox Trolling Flies had two long take downs, but the trout came off shortly after hooking into them. Great day of fishing overall! The bite should remain steady until the weather changes so get out there and take advantage of all the great fishing we have right now!
