Point Pinole Pier Fish Report

1-29-2018
East Bay Regional Park District

GENERAL CONDITIONS
Water temp is in the mid-50s, weather has been sunny and very windy, there are no construction updates at this time. Fishing pressure is slow at the pier with only a handful of fisherman daily.
Reminder to boaters:  Fog can come up quickly and bring an umbrella and/or rain gear, bring suntan lotion.
Pier retrofit is complete, with all new benches, windscreens and cleaning station.

STRIPED BASS
Stripers are slowing down with a few shakers being caught on grass shrimp.  A few dedicated fisherman braving the wind and muddy water conditions have been picking up legal size stripers every now and then.
