Hi Gang,

We departed on our annual Soft Steel sponsored 15 day trip today and cleared the Point around noon with a beautiful load of bait. Our weather was beautiful today with clear skies and a moderate swell out of the Northwest. Our trip host, Tony Garza, had an awesome giveaway session this afternoon and everyone received a Nomad Tackle bag full of Soft Steel fluorocarbon and a Soft Steel sweatshirt. Thank you Tony. Our chefs put together our signature first nights dinner of prime rib that was exceptional. I personally am back from paternity leave as my wife Jessica and I had our daughter Victoria on January 6. Everything went perfect with the birth and both mom and baby are healthy. I could not be more blessed. We will be rigging gear for the next few days in preparation for the fishing to come.
