GENERAL CONDITIONS
The weather has been very nice with the temperatures in the high-30s to the low-60s in the afternoon.
Water Temperature: 54 degrees, depending on depth.
Water Clarity: Visibility seems to vary between 10-15 feet.
TROUT
On December 11th, a very happy Ruben Mendez of Sunnyvale caught a 6 lb trout on pumpkin Powerbait and he was fishing by the 1st dock. On December 16th, limits were being reeled in from boaters.
Ron Dale of Livermore caught 3 trout and 1 catfish on Powerbait, and he was fishing on the Stanley shoreline. On December 13th, Sam of Pleasanton caught his limits of trout bait fishing and he was fishing in the eastside of the main lake. On December 17th, Eric Ouyang caught limits of trout out on his boat and he was using Powerbait. Lim Wellington caught his limits out on his boat and he was using Powerbait. On December 20th, Justin Phillips caught 2 trout on Powerbait and he was fishing by the boat launch.
On December 18th, boaters were catching limits early in the morning and David of San Jose was fishing left of the boat launch when he caught a 20-inch trout on Powerbait. On December 19th, Ruben Mendez of Sunnyvale caught a 6.5 lb trout and he was fishing left of the boat launch and he was using pumpkin Powerbait.
On December 22nd, Mike caught his limits of trout totaling 25 lbs.
On December 23rd, Ernesto Avina of Tracy and his friend caught 2 trout and they were fishing by the 2nd dock. And they were using gold Kastmasters. On December 24th, Mike Jones was out in his boat when he caught limits of trout.
CATFISH
On December 15th, DeVon Burns of San Jose caught a 16 lb catfish late in the afternoon and he caught it on night crawlers and on December 17th, DeVon was fishing for trout when he caught a 6.10 lb catfish on nightcrawlers.
