Report: because of the fires throughout Ventura County, we had super light loads on this morning’s boats. So mellow in fact, it felt like a week day around here. Fishing was apparently pretty good because we had a couple of them get back early with limits of nice Rockfish. “Quantity with great quality” said several anglers departing our ¾ day boat this afternoon.

For Sunday it looks much like it was today. We have a hand full of boats going out and they are only about 25% full. So, if you can get on the water the weather looks good and fishing is awesome! Still time to go fishing and top off your freezer for the off-season.
