Channel Islands Sportfishing
Report: Yet another good day of bottom fishing at the islands this afternoon. At Santa Rosa we even had a few “free swimmers” caught on an overnight trip. They had one Barracuda, one Yellowtail, and a lone White Seabass first thing in the morning. Of course they had outstanding quality Rockfish like always too. But the inner islands are putting out some decent quality too. Anglers are coming from far and wide to see why this area is famous for its bottom fishing!
Today’s Fish Count: 8 Boats and 151 Anglers
1,141 Rockfish, 338 Whitefish, 73 Lingcod, 13 Sheephead, 1 Barracuda, 1 Yellowtail, and 1 White Seabass.
