The Klamath will persevere

Mario Gomez
The fishing on the klamath river has really turned on the last week and should stay good for the rest of the month as long as the river remains in shape. We have been seeing 4 to 6 nice adults a day with a bunch of shinny half pounders to top things off. The fish have moved into the spawning areas and are also hanging out in the tailouts. We wacked and stacked fish on yarn, plugs, and flies. There is a bunch of fresh halfpounders runing around and they usually show up a few weeks before the first push of winter steelhead. If you want to go out and wet a line get a hold of me I have a few prime winter steelhead dates left so (drop me a line).
