Tuesday bluefin update and upcoming trips

The Intrepid just called in with limits of bluefin tuna on their current 1.5 day trip. Capt. Bill Cavanaugh said the fish were in the 15 to 45 lb range.

The American Angler has also reported limits of bluefin tuna for their 1.5 day trip and they will return to the dock on Wednesday morning at 5:30am.

Upcoming Bluefin trips with room:

New Lo-An 1½ day trip departing on 11/29. Ticket price is $375.00. Limited to 25 passengers. 7 spots remaining

El Capitan Overnight trip departing 12/1. Ticket price is $275.00 and includes meals. NEW TRIP ADDED

Upcoming local trips

The Point Loma is currently scheduled to fish the Coronado Islands. Ticket price is $150 for adults, $140 for juniors, seniors and active duty military. Ticket price also includes a tourist visa and Mexican fishing permit. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on this trip.

The Mission Belle is running local 1/2 day trips at 8:30 am. Ticket price is $48 for adults, $40 for seniors or active duty military and $35 for juniors 15 and under. California fishing license and equipment rentals are extra.

The New Lo-An checked in this afternoon with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for 21 anglers. The fish are in the 20# to 25 # class with a few fish around 50#’s.
