Kilchis River Fishing Report

11-21-2017
OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff

Fall Chinook fishing has been slow to fair. Best chances for bright fish have been right after rain events as the river first drops into shape. Bobber fishing bait, back-bouncing, back-trolling plugs or divers and bait, or casting spinners can all be effective methods for Chinook.

The catch-and-release season for chum salmon ended Nov. 15.
