Contra Loma Reservoir Fishing Report

CATFISH

Catfish has been okay at the Channel Point with anchovies, nightcrawlers or chicken livers.

TROUT

Fishing for trout is starting to pick up. Try fishing at Channel Point Dock with Power Bait or nightcrawlers.

BASS

Black Bass have been biting with artificial baits/lures or nightcrawlers anywhere around the lake or from boats.

The weather this week here at Lake Del Valle has been beautiful with temperatures cold in the mornings and rise to about the mid 60's during the day. The surface temperature is still sitting at 61 degrees this week. The hot bite this week has been trout with many anglers hooking up.
