We enjoyed another amazing sunrise this morning. Shortly after breakfast we had a family meeting and covered big bait fishing and kite fishing for giant yellowfin tuna. When fishing a skipjack for bait, make sure you let the fish eat the bait for at least a count of 30 to ensure that the fish has the entire bait in its mouth before setting the hook. The visual of the bite on a kite bait is one of the most awesome sights you will ever see as the fish usually come almost all the way out of the water to eat the bait. Pretty spectacular. The rest of our day was spent fine tuning our gear. We will set drags tomorrow morning before we arrive on scene. We will be fishing the Hurricane Bank and should be there midday tomorrow. We are all very excited. Wish us luck, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
