CATFISH
Catfishing has been okay at the Channel Point with anchovies, nightcrawlers or chicken livers.
TROUT
We had our first trout plant for the season on 10/19/17. Expecting another plant the week of the 30th. Fishing has not pick up yet. A couple have been caught a Channel Point Dock with Power Bait.
BASS
Black Bass have been biting with artificial baits/lures or nightcrawlers anywhere around the lake or from boats.

Del Valle LakeThe weather this week has been beautiful with temperatures ranging from the low 60s to about the mid 80's. The surface temperature this week is still sitting at a cool 62 degrees. The hot bite this week has been stripers with many anglers having success. For stripers most anglers are using bait, either anchovies, chicken liver, or sardines.
