San Pablo Reservoir Staff
Catfish, Crappie and Bass and Trout are biting. Chicken Liver, Anchovies or night-crawlers are your best bet for catfish. Crappie will bite on a red-worm, crappie nibble or an atomic teaser. Bass use a Berkeley plastic worm with a Gamakastu off-set shank hook best colors are watermelon candy and black oil. Power- bait and night crawlers are best for trout.

Park Information
Rob Davies of Moraga caught 7 Bass 6 of them were Large Mouth he said he never caught 6 Large mouths here in 1 day it was a good day fishing on 10-22-17.
Adam Tanouye of El Cerrito caught 3 trout the largest weighing 2 lbs using mice tails at Sandy Point on 10-22-17.
Mark Tanoouye of El Cerrito caught 7 trout using Mice tails fishing at Sandy Point on 10-22-17.
Jayden Lee of Alameda caught a 6.3 lb catfish using a mice tail of 10-27-17.
Justice Cinfio of San Bruno caught 4 trout the largest weighing 4.66 using red worms and chartruse power bait no location given on 10-27-17.
San Pablo Recreation area is open daily up until the 12th of November from7:00am – 4:00 p.m. The Reservior will reopen the 2nd of February 2018. Boats have to be off the water at 5:00 p.m. The café is Closed for the Season.
