Klamath Steelhead fishing really heating up

10-28-2017

Afternoon temperatures on the Klamath river have been unusually warm but what hasn't been unusual is the hot Steelhead and Trout bite. Not that anyone was counting except my client Rob Costa haha but we caught and released nearly 80 fish over the last two days. Fishing has been that good because when the salmon are spawning  the Trout and Steelhead  and Trout go nuts feed right below them. You cannot wrong fishing the Klamath right now. Bait flies plugs and spinners are all producing fish. Bigger adult Steelhead are beginning to show up to the party, yesterday, we caught some fatties in the 4 to 8 pound class. These Steelhead ripped drag and put a bend in the rid that we all love. It is time to get out and enjoy the Klamath while the weather is hot as the fishing so check my booking calendar and give me a call 530 905 0758.
