Tillamook Fishing Report

10-24-2017
OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff

Following last weekend’s high water event, fishing in the bay will probably drop off as fall Chinook push into the rivers. That said, there will still be fresh Chinook coming in through November, and when water conditions improve there will still be fish available. Trolling herring in the lower bay and spinners in the upper bay are the go to techniques.

Anglers are reminded that there is NO wild coho retention in the rivers and bays this year, and that two rods are prohibited on all coastal rivers, tidewater, estuaries and bays.
