Mario Gomez
My good friends Kevin, Steve, and Rob fished with me today and the trio from central California were on FIRE and had a banner day. Had a couple first happen today and one of them was a triple and is captured in the photo above. Ya that's correct we got a triple and three doubles today. The water was on the rise so the bite was a little off but the same place I got bites yesterday was holding fish today, we just had to work a little harder for em. Side drifting yarn and eggs has been the winner winner chicken dinner for the last week. Side drifting is hands down the deadliest technique for steelhead and if you got the time learn how to do it you won't be disappointed. Each river has its own little intricacies but the amount of weight you fish with is the most important aspect. Fish light and learn how to skull your boat.
P.S. JERK WHEN I TELL YA
