Deer and elk seasons are well underway here in southern Oregon and so is the 6th Annual Bucks and Bulls contest at Sportsman’s Warehouse (Medford). This season-long event brings hunters and trophies together from all over the region and state for fun and fellowship.

Enter your 2017 elk, Mule deer and Blacktail horns today! There is no entry fee. There will be awards for Blacktail deer, Mule deer, Roosevelt Elk and Rocky Mountain Elk for both rifle and archery divisions, in addition to youth and ladies categories. The contest runs from August 26 through December 31 and clean horns can be brought in any time during that period.

You don’t have to have big antlers to enter. Just being a contestant makes you eligible for thousands of dollars in prizes that will be given away at the awards banquet in January. As always, there will be fun and games, and live music. Contest sponsors will be offering additional products, services, information and entertainment during the awards night.
