A Solid Day

Hi Gang,

We had what I would consider a very solid day of tuna fishing. We located schools of mixed bluefin and yelowfin tuna that were mostly 40 to 65 pounds and we had steady action most of the day. The guys fishing the 30 and 40 pound fluorocarbon with a 1/0 or 2/0 J hooks were having the most success. Our weather was gorgeous all day and we had a few really good opportunities on this nicer sized fish. We ended our day with hooking a couple of bigger fish and landed one that looks like it will go right about 140 lbs. Everyone is stoked. We will see what tomorrow brings. Wish us luck, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4088 to get in on the action.
