White Sea Bass from 35 to 50 pounds for Amigo. Barracuda & bonito fishing outstanding today for Patriot & Nautilus!

The Amigo got back from an open party overnight trip that left Sunday night and fished all day Monday with only 9 anglers and they ended up with 7 large white sea bass from 35 to 50 pounds! They also had 38 calico bass, 17 sheephead, 1 halibut, and a rockfish. Capt Dan Connolly ran the trip. The 50 pound white sea bass was Jenny's first white sea bass. Wow! The group had only 1 white sea bass on the boat around 3pm and Capt Dan made the call to stay late and after checking with everyone to make sure there were no prior commitments. It paid off big time with excellent white sea bass fishing on trophy sized fish. They didn't get back to the dock until 11:20 pm. As a result we have scheduled open party overnight trips on the Amigo and Capt Dan will be running these trips leaving Wednesday night at 9pm fishing Thursday (May 29) and another trip leaving Thursday night at 9pm fishing Friday May 30. Limited to 18 anglers at $170. These weekday trips should do well. Just set these trips up today (Tuesday May 27 1:40 pm). Also the Patriot and Nautilus are having excellent fishing today on big barracuda and bonito along the coast. The Nautilus already has limits of barracuda and Capt Robby said there are large schools of big barracuda and big bonito mixed in all along the coast. They are biting both jigs in all colors and bait. Sounds like summer is upon us. I am ready to go fishing it figures right after the holiday weekend.
