WELCOME BACK TO THE MEMORIAL DAY TRIP

The American Angler returned this morning at 7:30am with a beautiful load of rock fish and nice Yellowtail - They came away with 24 after numerous paddy visits. Check out pics of a few of these beauties below...We have in order, Ryan (11 yrs old) with Taro, The Rosenbergs, and George Swarberg(www.rodknobie.com) with his family - Wyatt and Bob.

Our jackpot winners this trip were Wyatt Ogilvy with a 35.5lb Yellowtail, Ryan Farris with a 15lb YT and Rob Depue with a 14.5lb YT. Honorable mention go to husband/wife team Larry & Kim Rosenberg - a true team effort: hooked by Larry and reeled in by Kim, a beautiful 33lb Yellowtail. Congrats everyone!

Thanks to everyone for a great trip!

The boat departs this afternoon for one more 1.5 day trip - check back for the report..

Talked to the boat tonight and sounds like they had a successful 3 day trip - and will be back at the dock @ 7:30am tomorrow morning. They had good rock fishing the first day, 24 yellowtail came on board today and nice weather conditions for the duration. The guys returned from this day and a half trip at 6am, which opted to fish the local Coronado Islands for Yellowtail. They enjoyed a full day of standing at the rail, soaking up the rays and having the opportunity to catch a decent grade Yellowtail.
