August 5th Kokanee Power Tournament on Whiskeytown

Kokanee Power will be holding its 2nd annual Kokanee fishing tournament on Whiskeytown Lake this Saturday. The tournament will begin at 5:30 am at Brandy Creek Marina and weigh-ins will be allowed no later than 2:00 pm Visit www.kokaneepower.org for tournament details and registration information. In preperation for the event on Saturday, local guide and charter captain, Anthony Cox, will be giving a free Kokanee fishing seminar at 5:30 pm at the Red Lion Hotel in Redding on Hill Top Dr. There will also be two new Kokanee tackle mfg's, (Paulina Tackle and Tric Ric Tackle) available to answer questions about their Kokanee tackle product lines. Last years tournament was a huge success and everyone had a great time! Please refer to the Kokanee power website for further details.
Jeff Goodwin is a full time Northern California fishing guide. He guides year round for salmon, trout, steelhead, Kokanee, and bass on Northern California rivers and lakes.
