Several of our boats are reporting early morning hits on the big bluefin tuna today. The Cortez on the first day of a 2.5 day has 11 blues on board, 10 of which are over 100 lbs. The top fish taped out at 180. The Endeavor reported 10 blues in the 80-100 lb. class.
Captains are reporting beautiful weather in the zone. The majority of the catch is on....... wait for it.........Shimano Flatfalls.
9am-The Tribute reported in with 43 yellowtail, 38 dorado and 4 yellowfin tuna on board.
9:45am- The San Diego called in with 10 bluefin tuna on board in the 15-25lb range.
