Surface yellows

Our weather was a bit unsavory today but luckily we were able to hunker down on the anchor and enjoy a nice afternoon bite on quality yellows. Surface oriented action with the jigs and flyline working best.

We are going to give this another day before moving on.

Good start

Nice steady action on school grade yft made for a perfect start to the trip. By the end of the day everyone had the hang of it and were working together tangle free. Good finish

Very slow fishing as we worked up the beach the last few days although this afternoon showed promise with good action on kelps and porpoise that produced 150 mixed dorado, yellowfin, and yellows. We will be in tomorrow and will depart on our annual Abbott 7-day.   ...... Read More
