Trinity Lake Kokanee bite still on!

We fished Trinity Lake today and literally caught dozens of nice Kokanee salmon.  The bite was red hot first thing in the morning and held up steadily throughout the day.  We had a few slow spots when we moved from one area to another, but we stayed on the Kokanee pretty much all day.  A big wind in the afternoon blew us off the Papoose Arm, but we found some new fish held up along the south shoreline and they provided a some excitement until we headed in for the day.  We tossed several shorts back and lost a bunch of fish after hooking them, but my clients still went home with 26 great Kokanee salmon.  Best bite was at 45' feet early and 55' feet by the afternoon period.  Pink baits got the first bites, but orange really turned on in the afternoon.  I have days available for Trinity Lake salmon fishing, send me a message or call me at (707) 616-1905 to get your day reserved!
