San Pablo Reservoir Staff
The Trout bite has slowed to a crawl if you are going to fish for trout it would be best to fish down down by the dam in the deepest waters. The Catfish and the crappie are biting on the shoreline by the main rec. and by the boat launch. Bass are biting using a panther martin lure while trolling.

Fish Plant: We planted 1,200 lbs of Catfish on 7/12/17 at the boat launch
Fish Tales
Grae Bryant of Oakland caught 1 catfish weighing 5 ½ lbs using nightcrawlers on 7-15-17 at the boat launch.
Brian Qualle of El Sobrante caught a catfish using night crawlers weighing 2 lbs at the boat launch on 7-16-17.
Dimitri Shocron caught a catfish weighing 3.70 at the main rec using homemade sausage at Gazebo 1 on 6-17-17.
Park Information
San Pablo Recreation area is open daily for the month of July from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Boats have to be off the water at 7:00 p.m. The café is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am – 4:00 p.m. serving Hamburgers Hotdogs and French Fries.
