Shasta Lake trout fishing.

Jeff Goodwin
Another great day on Shasta Lake fishing for rainbow trout. Morning bite was descent, but mostly smaller fish first thing in the am. We got into a better grade of rainbows after the sun came up over the hill and hit the lake surface. Trout are still at 45'-55' feet and are taking small presentations trolled at 1.8-2.0 mph. UV dodgers and nickel or white spoons are getting the most bites. Look for the bite to get even better as this big moon gets smaller and smaller. I have some days open still for this great fishery so give me a call or send me a message and we'll get your party on the books!
