Captain Bill Cavanaugh called in with an audio update from the Intrepid out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA.  We are on an 8 day trip.  We exposed offshore yesterday.  We found some good water and we searched for kelps hoping for Dorado and Wahoo.  The kelps were few and far between.  We did get a decent bit on some nice grade Yellowtail (18 to 25 pounds).  We also caught a little bit of tuna too.  But the wahoo were a no show.

We are just now wrapping up an awesome Yellowtail bite.  We anchored up around 6:45 this morning and we had steady action on Yellowtail  (18 to 28 pounds).  We had a few standouts that were over 30.  

The weather is flat calm and we will check back in later.
