Warm summer weather is at its high lately. Trout have gone deep at about 30-35ft. People are still catching trout with even some limits here and there, but its hit and miss. From shore the dock at night is your best chance. Bass and Catfish are loving the hot weather though and many big ones are coming in! Bass are hitting on plastics and crankbaits. Lake AmadorNight fishing on the Dock has been great the last week. Remember that we do allow night fishing, but keep in mind the guard at the gate won’t let anyone in to fish or camp after 10pm! Lake AmadorWe stocked our last load of Trout for the season on Saturday May 20th with 600lbs of Rainbows and 600lbs of Lightning Trout!! We will start the new season mid-October! Not many people have been coming out with the hot weather, but reports from those who have is that fishing is still good!
