Channel Islands Sportfishing
So, we ended the weekend with only a hand full of boats going out simply because of the weather conditions. The entire overnight fleet stayed at the dock because of it, even with that wide open White Seabass bite going on. Fortunately, there is one boat on top of those fish. The Ranger85 is on the first day of a two day trip and had 45 White Seabass. So for those wondering, yes they are still biting! As for the morning boats fishing the local islands, they actually had nice conditions once they got across to they’re destination. It was bumpy going out and even bumpier coming in, but they were able to catch a bunch of Rockfish and even a solo Yellowtail in picture perfect island conditions. So, all in all this was a wonderful weekend. Highly productive and extremely fun fishing and we hope to keep this ball rolling this upcoming week.
Today’s Fish Count: 3 Boats and 129 Anglers
