Hi Everyone,

Here is our schedule for open party trips for the rest of this week and weekend. I also included our Memorial Day weekend schedule.

The Amigo has an open party morning ?? day Halibut trip for this Saturday (May 17). This trip departs at 6am returns at 12 pm. Limited to 18 anglers at $60. We have been getting very good reports that the Halibut are biting. Conditions should be great and I am excited to see how this turns out. This trip will be strictly halibut fishing. For tackle and gear recommendations just give us a call. Currently we have 9 spots available (as of 1pm Thursday May 15).

The Amigo has an open party overnight trip leaving Sunday (May 18) at 10pm fishing Monday (May 19). Limited to 16 anglers at $170. They will be targeting yellowtail & white sea bass at San Clemente Island.

For the Memorial Day Weekend the Amigo has an open party 2 day trip with Capt Mike Thompson running. Limited to only 16 anglers at the price is $350. Currently 9 spots are open as of 1 pm Thursday (May 15).

The Aggressor has an open party 1 day trip leaving this Friday night at 10pm fishing Saturday (May 17). This trip is a modified limited load trip to cut the cost down some. Limited to 24 anglers at $130. Fishing white sea bass and yellowtail at San Clemente Island.

For the Memorial Day Weekend the Aggressor has open party overnight trips leaving Thursday night at 10 pm fishing Friday (May 23), leaving Friday night at 10pm fishing Saturday (May 24), and leaving Saturday night at 10pm fishing Sunday May 25. Limited to 20 anglers at $170.

The Ultra has an open party 1 ?? trip leaving tomorrow night at 9pm fishing all day Saturday. Limited to 9 anglers at $360. Steak dinners are included in the price They will be fishing one of the islands for white sea bass and yellowtail. There last overnight trip has 3 white sea bass and with a full day of fishing this should be a good trip. Currently 5 spots are open as of 1pm Thursday May 15.

For this weekend the Patriot has a limited load extended ?? day trip for this Saturday (May 17). Departing at 6am returning at 6pm. Limited to 40 anglers at $90. Capt John Fischer will be running this trip. There has been good fishing with big bonito averaging 10 pounds both along the coast and out by Catalina Island. Catalina Island has also been good for calico bass fishing and more and more yellowtail are being seen. Currently 22 spots available as of 1 pm Thursday May 15. Patriot will be running open party ?? day trip for Sunday departing at 7am returning at 5pm. The Patriot is running ?? day trips daily during the week and will have limited load extended ?? day trips for the Memorial Day Weekend.

The Nautilus will be running open party ?? day trips both Saturday & Sunday. The Nautilus will also be running open party twilight trips on Friday and Saturday night departing at 7pm. ?? day fishing has been good with big bonito averaging 10 pounds and fair to good bass fishing when targeting the bass. There has also been some large halibut hooked and lost along with lots of short fish. Bait has been anchovy and sardine and live squid has been available on the overnight and longer trips. Water is warming both locally and at the islands.

Hey Everyone! Wanted to give you another quick update! We just received a call informing us we will be using live squid and fin bait this weekend! We still have plenty of room on half days and 3/4 days this weekend! Hey Everyone! Wanted to give you a quick update from the fishing world of Newport Landing! Captain Robbie on the Nautilus checked in today with BIG Bonito on the coast.
