Hi Gang,

We fished a different area today for yellowtail. Our weather was picture perfect with zero wind and we scratched at some quality fish. Unfortunately, we were met with lack of current and the fish that we saw did not react all that well. After a short morning of fishing, we started our journey north. The weather is as nice as you could ever want it and we enjoyed the good traveling weather. We looked at a few kelp paddies in the afternoon that had no fish and it has the distinct feel that it's just a bit early for offshore fish at this latitude. Im the afternoon, our chefs put out a sushi/ sashimi spread of hamachi that was amazing to say the least. We will be looking for offshore fish tomorrow. Wish us luck.
