We started the trip with a pit stop at the bait receiver. We loaded up the tanks with some beautiful 5-7″ sardine and 6-8″ mackerel. On board is Penn Rep and charter master Steve Carson, along with lots of familiar faces and a couple new ones amongst the passengers. We have been enjoying a pleasant ride down. We will be reaching the yellowtail grounds at 1400. Everyone eager and hopeful to find some biting fish. We have passed some of the time with fishing and rigging seminars which have been followed up by Mr. Carson giving away a bunch goodies, ranging from t-shirts,lures, pliers to reels and everything in between. Everyone on board leaves with several items. We well check in at dark.
