Fish Report for 5-19-2017

Horseshoe Lake Fishing Report

5-19-2017
East Bay Regional Park District

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Although we haven’t seen an abundance of fisherman in the last couple weeks, the fishing does seem to have picked up since our most recent plants. It’s still mostly trout being caught with a couple of catfish here and there in warmer weather.

TROUT

One of our regulars caught two 7 lb. trout, one on each end of Horseshoe Lake using Rainbow Runners. Another regular angler caught a 6 lb. and 7 lb. catfish (on trout bait) along fisherman’s row.
