Dave Jacobs

Striper's come in all shapes and sizes but when angler's hook into a striper in the 20 to 30 pound class you really know you got something special. Andy Jones from Modesto joined his father Chuck Jones on Saturday, may 3rd for a limit of big stripers to 19 pounds while fishing with guide Dave Jacobs of Professional guide service. Andy hooked his big fish from anchor in 12 foot of water just above Grimes, Ca. on a medium size minnow. Striper fishing has been good for the anglers and guides who find schools of stripers. Striper fishing in May on the Sacramento river can be good from Colusa to Knights landing.
