Cisco’s Report: Fishing Again!
4-29-2017
Channel Islands Sportfishing
So great to be back on the water after almost a full week off because of wind. The water temperatures were down to the low 50’s because of it, but that didn’t stop the bottom fish from biting. In fact, fishing was exceptional for Rockfish and Whitefish with even a few Lingcod in the mix. Seems the “good eaters” like a chill in the water!
Upcoming trips are all a go as the weather looks to improve even more over the next several days. For Sunday we have some openings for local trips and even a hand full of outer island tickets available. Give us a call or you can book online anytime.
Today’s Fish Count: 10 boats and 292 anglers.
2,850 Rockfish, 140 Lingcod, 274 Ocean Whitefish, 4 Sole, 3 Sheephead, 1 Sculpin and 1 Wolf Eel.
