Cisco’s Report: TGIF Game fish biting!
4-14-2017
Channel Islands Sportfishing
A great way to start our weekend, catching a few White Seabass and Yellowtail. The weather ended up being pretty nice and the Yellows and Seabass bit for those willing to wake up early and get on the fishing grounds first. We lost a few fish to tangles or the hook simply pulling out, but overall it was a pretty good hook to land ratio. This is only the beginning though. We have been picking away at the Yellows and Seabass all week, waiting for the bite to go “full speed”. So far we have not seen that, but hopefully it will continue to bite even better.
Today’s Fish Count: 5 boats and 140 anglers.
871 Assorted Rockfish, 61 Ocean Whitefish, 6 Sculpin, 1 Sheephead, 1 Lingcod, 5 Yellowtail, and 8 White Seabass.

Still some open spots for this weekend but if you can come out during the week days you will find a lot more availability on your favorite boat.
