Fish Report for 4-2-2017

Cisco’s Report: Sunday April 2nd

4-2-2017
Channel Islands Sportfishing

Good bottom fishing for our boats today in very nice weather conditions. A nice way to end another productive weekend of catching. We have trips online running every day this week so if you can get away its time to go fishing. The water is still cold and hovering around 55 degrees but there are signs of game fish. Word has it, there are some Seabass out there on the chew. It’s been a while since the Channel Islands have seen a good White Seabass, so this is great news if they start biting ahead of schedule. If you’re coming out with us anytime soon, be ready for anything!

Today’s Fish Count: 8 boats and 191 anglers.
1,816 Assorted Rockfish, 350 Ocean Whitefish, 79 Lingcod, 7 Sheephead and 13 Sculpin.
