First time this year I hit the delta to do some striper recon with my deckhand Darren Butler and my dad Ed Netzel. Found some decent schools as soon as we started in the San Joaquin side since the water was cleaner than the sac side.

Caught 20 plus fish to about 6 pounds trolling YoZuris and slow trolling live jumbo minnows. Didn't need the minnows but bought them just in case trolling was poor, and since we had em, "use em or lose em"!!!

Ended the day with 3 limits of quality Stripers of which only 1 was a hen.
