Captain Bruce Smith checked in today from Pyramid Lake in Sutcliffe, NV. Yesterday afternoon Bruce caught this beautiful 21 pound Lahontan Cutthroat Trout at Pelican Point using a #6 black beetle while fly fishing. The fishing has been very good Bruce caught 30 fish yesterday with 2 of them over ten pounds and this one 21 pounder. Most of the fish were caught stripping wooly worms and beetles. This morning the fish are biting again. We have some breeze and are hoping to catch another hog!
