The New Seaforth had a great shot at quality Yellowtail on the afternoon 1/2 day trip Friday. Only 5 of the 20-25 pound yellows were boated with other missed opportunities. Surface jigs worked best today but a fly-line and yo-yo rod would be advised also. 1/2 day trips depart daily at 6:00am and 12:30pm. Captain Brian of the New Seaforth just called in with limits of rockfish for this mornings half day trip. They had 10 anglers catching a total of 100 rockfish. The weather is beautiful and conditions look excellent through the weekend. The New Seaforth will departing daily at 6:00 AM and 12:30PM.
