January thru March there are more steelhead in Humboldt County than anywhere else in California. Celebrate with us! Experience Humboldt in the wintertime: Eat, drink, explore the natural beauty of the Redwoods, go on a restoration & spawning tour and fish for our legendary steelhead.



Humboldt Steelhead Days is a three-month-long celebration of “All Things Steelhead!” Events and angling activities organized throughout Humboldt are designed to inspire community awareness, promote river restoration and recovery of Humboldt’s iconic winter steelhead populations and their spawning habitat.
