Bass fishing remains steady, as most anglers enjoyed limit type action throughout the week. Frogs, buzz baits, spinnerbaits, drop shot, you name it, and they all produced at various times of day. Crappie, and red ear made their presence known off of main lake points, most fish coming in on either red worms, or mini jig/mealworm combos. Slightly cooler air temps have improved the bass bite, as a nice frog bite is beginning to kick in. Largemouth were also taking jigs, drop shot, and blades fished just outside of the grass lines all over the lake. Both crappie, and red ear action picked up as well, and either drifting, or trotting small spoons, and spinners in the White Oak area produced some nice catches.
