Del Valle Lake Fishing Report

12-27-2016
Del Valle Marina

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and caught lots of fish. The water temperature is still around 50 degrees and cold frozen mornings are going to drop it fast. The lake level is still slowly dropping. Trout have been eating power bait products and Kastmasters from the East beach and West shore. A few catfish were caught this week, and cold water catfish tastes the best. Blue Green algae has put a damper on things, don’t let your dogs drink or swim in the water until further notice! This can be lethal to your pet so use extreme caution. On the brighter side New years is around the corner so come up and see us and get your NEW 2017 fishing license, and don’t forget about the second rod stamp!
