OFF TO A GOOD START
We arrived at our destination in the wee hours of the morning. Looking at the current conditions it looked like the right place to be anchored up, we waited a couple hours after daylight and it was obvious we were not it the right place so it was time to do some of the Skipper stuff and get these folks situated.
After looking around we picked out a spot and things started to happen - there was sign of better fish and a few Wahoo. We had a shot in the midmorning and midday was our slow period. By the afternoon things started to get with the program. We ended the day with 31 Yellowfintuna 50 to 232 lbs with a mix 17 Wahoo to go with the catch.
The photos of the day are Ken Corwin with his 195 lb Tuna (he also caught one 202lb later) and Mark Rubins (Rubes) with his 150 plus Tuna which the first of the bigger fish for the day.
The weather is very nice and we're going to give it another day then take it from there.
