Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone;
This morning we saw many fish jumping on the entire bank. They did not bite well. We caught 6 Yellowfin tuna from 140 to 206 pounds. The largest fish was caught by Richard Losey.
During the day we scratched 16 Wahoo on the anchor on iron and Sardines. In the evening we only saw a few fish and caught one at 90 pounds on the kite. Weather today was overcast with 8 to 12 knots of breeze.
I am sure many of you have fished a long trip with Mike Heishima. Well this trip his father is aboard and this is definitely proof that the saying "like father, like son" is not always true. Dr. Heishima is a very polite, reserved gentle human being, and a real pleasure to have aboard. The R/p crew.

Hi folks; We arrived at Hurricane bank at 10:30 hours. Weather is a bit sloppy, with 15 to 18 knots of wind and a strong current going north. We caught 41 Wahoo for the day and just a couple of small Yellowfin tuna, that we cut up for chunks. One of the seiners said he saw a hand full of big fish in the early morning, so we have big hops that things will get much better as far as the tuna...... Read More
