Things are looking up

Hi folks;
We started fishing at Clarion island just before daybreak. Our weather today was quite beautiful with flat calm seas.

Fishing continues to be quite tough. Shawna Barton had the largest fish of the day, caught on a live flying fish on the kite at 190 pounds. Tom Neuman got a 170 pound Yellowfin on a live sardine and won the 2 speed 870 Boss reel for the largest fish caught on a sardine today. We only had 5 Yellowfin tuna however, there were a couple of heavy ones lost.

We saw a fair amount of fish today, so we are hoping tomorrow they will be more cooperative. The R/p crew.

Hi everyone; Our fishing this morning was very poor. Every fish we have caught the last several days has been absolutely stuffed with box fish. One has to believe that the fish are out in deep water gorging on there little critters. We will arrive at Clarion island at daybreak, Tuesday. Wish us luck and hopefully we will have a better report tomorrow. The R/p crew. "BeNt RoDs FoR LiFe"...... Read More
