Good morning folks. Yesterday we spent rigging up and doing a seminar. Tuna fishing was the topic and all the techniques for the Bank. We are going to start outside and take it day by day. Arrival is tomorrow morning.

Those of you that are waiting to sign up for the March 16 day fly home from Cabo now is the time. With fisheries throughout the chain including recent visits to Socorro island with great relations with the camp and Navy. We may even find ourselves in there this trip.

With the anchor style fishing at the bank with chances of both wahoo and tuna, to the offshore fishing style off the islands inside the options are here and the fact of fishing your way into Cabo leaving Socorro or San Benedicto the last morning. That's the reality of prospects for this chain, now we just have to hope for fish that want to bite.

Look through the latest Melton International catalog for some of the terminal tackle we are using. The wahoo rigs have included wire size from 27# to 60 # for bait and 69 pound for the bombs and Catchy tackle jigs. We will report again tomorrow night after our first day at the Bank.

Wahoo and tuna are on the menu and the prospects look good. Loftus and Martin are out with us and...... Read More
