The Bluefin Are Still Biting

11-20-16 9:15 - The Tribute is returning this morning from their 1.5 Day Trip with 44 bluefin(90% of the fish are 75-100+lbs with a few 50lbs in the mix), 12 bonito and 1 mako shark for their 30 anglers.

Tackle recommendations for the 1.5 day trips are: 2 speed reels with 50-80lb fluorocarbon, 3/0-6/0 circle hooks and a 160 gram flat fall glow in the dark. We do have two speed reels for rent at the office and a full service tackle shop for all your terminal tackle needs.

There is a lot of fishing still be done, so make your reservations now! The Tribute will be departing Monday evening and the Aztec will be departing Tuesday evening. Don't forget about double half days every day of the week and three quarter day trips to the Coronado islands on the weekends(a valid passport is a required for each person to board).

Update 5:30pm The Tribute is up to 12 bluefin tuna and is setting up for a night bite. 8:45am The Tribute called in from their 1.5 Day trip with 6 bluefin on their first stop. The fish are up to 100 lbs, and they have plenty of fishing left. The Aztec returned from their 1.5 Day trip this morning with 38 bluefin for their 28 anglers.
